Cardano

Cardano is a blockchain platform and cryptocurrency that is designed to be more scalable, secure, and interoperable than existing blockchain systems. It uses a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm called Ouroboros, which allows it to achieve high levels of decentralization and security without consuming large amounts of energy. Cardano was created by the blockchain development firm Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK), and its native cryptocurrency is called ADA.
